VIBEMIND FOR FL STUDIO + ABLETON · WINDOWS AND MAC · NEW

Gopher is the manual. VibeMind is the producer.

Type “a Future-type beat at 140, dark, 808 Mafia drums” into Claude. VibeMind builds the whole FL Studio session in your copy of FL: channels, your samples and presets, the mixer, automation clips, the playlist and the export, measured against the artist’s real records. Every note is yours to edit.

$69 one-time (launch price, normally $99) · no subscription · lifetime updates · 7-day free trial · works with FL Studio (Windows + Mac) and Ableton Live. No card for the trial.
Windows 10+ or macOS · FL Studio 2024 or later, any edition · Ableton Live 11/12 · Claude Desktop (free plan works, with usage limits) · Serum optional · Made by ROLLA Audio

60 seconds: an empty FL project to a playing beat

Build video: the Future / 808 Mafia session, real time, no cuts. Coming with the launch short.

Real screen recording of FL Studio. Nothing is generated audio: the sounds are our own one-shots and presets inside FL, and the whole thing is a project file you keep.

WHAT IT DOES

Prompt in.
A whole session out.

01 / BUILD

The session, not a loop.

Channels with the right samples and presets (FLEX, 3xOsc, Sampler, Vital or Serum if you have it), one pattern per section, the playlist laid out, time markers, the export. Under 3 minutes for a 15-track arrangement.

02 / MIX

Mixer and automation too.

Inserts, EQ, saturation, sends, sidechain pumps as automation clips, master chain. The things Gopher cannot do yet: melodies, presets, automation, loading sounds.

03 / MEASURE

Measured, not vibes.

Each artist pack carries targets taken from the records: 808 register and note grammar, hat and clap timing, sidechain depth, width per band, loudness, tilt, section lengths. The build aims at those numbers and the Report Card grades the bounce against them.

Five things it does that nothing else does for FL:

The speedrun numbers

robtmb’s Playboi Carti “Magnolia” FL Studio speedrun record is 4.53 s. We ran Claude under his rules (template loaded, clock starts on the first note, stops on play), best of 3, filmed.

  • Claude from memory, no notes: 1 of 16 notes right. It does not know the song. That is the honest part.
  • Claude with the notes, at watchable speed: 3.42 s (vs 4.53).
  • Claude flat out: 0.29 s.
  • Same run in Ableton Live, empty set to playing: 2.48 s.
  • A full 15-track FISHER arrangement placed into FL with mixer, sidechains and automation: 162 s, 0 steps left for you to do by hand.

Sounds in every run are ours (synthesised flute, keys and 808, our own drum one-shots). Nothing from the record.

The Report Card

Drop a bounce, pick the artist, get the measured report: loudness, crest, tilt, band levels, stereo width, sidechain pump, hat timing, each against ranges taken from the records. Audio is deleted the moment the numbers exist.

What it looks like on a real build: the FISHER session exported straight from FL Studio scores 21/23 against FISHER’s records (the reference render scores 22/23). Our first Fred again.. demo went 9/23 to 18/23 after one master pass that followed the fix list.

Windows download

One signed installer (.exe) for Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. It installs the VibeMind server and the FL Studio bridge, puts the two FL scripts in place, pairs the MIDI ports while FL is closed, and registers VibeMind with Claude Desktop. The Mac .pkg (notarized by Apple) comes from the same download page.

“Windows protected your PC”

VibeMind is from a new publisher, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” until the installer earns reputation. SmartScreen counts downloads, not only signatures. Click More info, then Run anyway. The file is signed by DMCSITE LLC, the company behind ROLLA Audio; if the publisher line shows anything else, do not run it and email support@rollaaudio.com.

You need Claude Desktop

VibeMind needs Claude Desktop (Windows or Mac) to run. Install Claude Desktop ↗ and sign in before you run the installer. VibeMind runs locally as an MCP server, and Claude Desktop runs local MCP servers on the free Claude plan, with Anthropic’s usage limits: a full build is a long conversation, so expect a handful a day on free and more on a paid plan.

FL Studio setup, three lines

  1. Close FL Studio, run the installer, restart Claude Desktop.
  2. Installed with FL open? FL > Options > MIDI settings: input VibeMind FL → controller type VibeMind FL Bridge; output VibeMind FL Return on the same port number.
  3. Once per FL session: Piano roll > Tools > Scripting > VibeMind Notes.

Then ask Claude: “Run the VibeMind setup check.” The setup-check tool confirms FL Studio is found, the bridge is running, the scripts are installed, the ports are paired, FL answers and the Notes script is armed, with a one-line fix for anything that is not. The full walk-through is in the setup guide.

Requirements

Computer

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), or macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon.

DAW (one or both)

  • FL Studio 2024 or later, any edition: Fruity, Producer, Signature or All Plugins. Nothing in the core build needs a Producer-only feature. Tested on FL Studio 2025 and 2026.
  • Ableton Live 11 or 12. Live 12 Suite (or Standard + Max for Live) for the PluginHost and Arranger devices; the bridge tools work without them.

AI client

  • Claude Desktop, free or paid. The free plan runs local tools like VibeMind with daily usage limits; a Pro plan builds more sessions per day. Claude Code and Codex CLI (ChatGPT) also work.

Sounds

  • Serum is optional. Packs ship FLEX and Vital (free) presets first; Serum 2 presets are included where we have them.

FAQ

Windows says “Windows protected your PC” (SmartScreen).

SmartScreen judges a file by how many people have downloaded it, not only by its signature. The installer is signed, but a new publisher’s file shows the warning until enough downloads build its reputation. Click More info, then Run anyway. The publisher line reads DMCSITE LLC (the company behind ROLLA Audio). If it does not, stop and email us.

Can I keep working in FL while it builds?

No: hands off FL until Claude says the build is done. Loading samples and placing playlist clips bring FL to the front and drive its own dialogs with real clicks; a click or keystroke of yours landing on a panel that is still closing can crash FL. Save your own work before you start a build.

The build stopped with a MANUAL line about a dialog.

Start every build with no dialog on screen: no licence or trial nag, update prompt or crash report. VibeMind refuses to click when one is open, because the clicks would land on it. If FL opens one mid-build (the FL trial’s save nag does this), the build stops at that step; close the dialog and ask Claude to continue.

Is this cheating?

It is a producer at your keyboard, in your copy of FL. You get a project file with every note, sample, preset and automation clip editable. Whether you ship it as-is or tear it apart is the same decision you make with a loop pack, a template or a ghost producer. The honest speedrun act is on the page for a reason: Claude from memory gets 1 note in 16. The craft is in the measured packs and in what you do with the session.

Do I need Serum?

No. The packs are built FLEX and Vital first (Vital is free). If you own Serum 2, VibeMind loads it with the pack’s presets; if not, the Vital versions are used.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

No. Claude Desktop’s free plan runs VibeMind; it limits how much you can do per day, which for a full 15-track build is a handful of sessions. Paid plans lift the limit. We are adding Codex CLI and Gemini CLI as clients in the next release.

Which FL Studio edition?

Any. Fruity Edition works: the core build uses the step sequencer, piano roll, Sampler, FLEX, 3xOsc and the mixer. The trial edition cannot reopen saved projects, so buy or trial FL itself to keep what VibeMind builds.

“It’s just a script.”

Partly. The bridge is a small FL MIDI-controller script plus a local server; the open-source parts are on GitHub. What you pay for is the measured artist knowledge, the planner that turns a sentence into a session, the mixer and automation routes FL has no API for, and the Report Card.

Is this AI-generated music?

No audio is generated by a model. The sounds are your plugins and our one-shots inside FL or Live. The AI writes the notes and builds the project.

Does it work in Ableton too?

Yes, same licence. VibeMind for Ableton has the Live details.

Refunds?

14 days, no questions. Email support@rollaaudio.com from your purchase email.
