FAQ
Is this AI-generated music?
No. The AI acts as a producer at your keyboard. The audio is produced by your plugins and samples inside Live.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Yes, through OpenAI’s Codex CLI, which speaks the same local protocol. The ChatGPT desktop app itself only accepts hosted connectors; that path is planned for 1.1.
Which AI is best?
Claude Desktop gives the smoothest experience today; Claude Code and Codex CLI are for people who already live in a terminal.
Can I use my own Serum presets?
Yes. Serum 1 FXP presets are readable and writable; Serum 2 is handled through PluginHost state save/load.
