FROM FIRST NOTE TO YOUR OWN PATTERN

Less setup.
More movement.

ROLLA 0.2 showing the editable roller pattern, the two sound layers and the drum section along the bottom
01 / HOLD

Start with one key.

Pick a sound. Hold a note. The Roller turns it into a repeating bassline.

02 / SHAPE

Find your pocket.

Change the filter, note length and delay. Go from tight and choppy to long and rolling.

03 / MAKE IT YOURS

Edit the movement.

Change the steps in ROLLA or export the pattern as MIDI to keep working in your DAW.

THE DRUM SECTION

Drums that
follow you.

ROLLA is a bass instrument first. The drum section is there so an idea can move the moment you have it: an original 20-hit kit, sixteen patterns, and a lane that chops whatever break you bring. When the track is real, keep the roll and swap in your own drums, or keep both.

ROLLA drum section: twelve pattern slots, eight lanes with mute and level controls, a sixteen-step grid and a break lane
01 / PRESS PLAY

It runs with the song.

Start the transport and the selected pattern plays in time with your project. Nothing held, no MIDI clip to draw.

02 / PLAY IT LIVE

Twelve slots on C0–B0.

Tap a drum key and the pattern switches right there. Hold one past the bar line and it plays as a fill, then hands back on the grid.

03 / BRING YOUR BREAK

Your loop, chopped.

Drop a break on the last lane and ROLLA slices it across the grid. No recorded breaks ship with it, so what you hear is yours to release.

TRY IT IN YOUR OWN PROJECT
